The design process ensures a smooth and seamless journey, guiding you from concept to completion in approximately two and a half months.

  • Reach out with your ideas, preferred painting style, and desired size. We’ll provide a rough quote based on your vision.

  • We’ll schedule a Zoom meeting to refine your vision, exploring your inspirations, preferences, and the emotions you want the painting to evoke. Whether it’s a portrait infused with personal symbols or a landscape that holds significance to you, this is the exciting creative stage where I guide you in shaping a personalized, magical artwork.

    Once confirmed, a 50% deposit of the quote is required to begin the process and secure materials. The remaining 50% is due upon completion.

  • Athena will create and present six unique design ideas on my iPad based on our discussion. You select the one that resonates most with you.

  • Up to three iPad edits are included to refine the composition, ensuring it aligns perfectly with your vision.

  • A scaled printed image of your final design will be digitally superimposed into your space, or a to-scale physical print can be sent to your home. This allows you to visualize how the artwork will feel before painting begins.

  • The painting phase takes approximately one month. You’ll receive a taster image in the early stages for approval, followed by a final image to ensure it’s exactly what you envisioned.

  • An intricate one-month weaving process follows, enhancing texture, depth, and dimension—bringing a unique tactile quality to the piece. During this stage, high-quality images and videos will be sent to you, ensuring you are completely enthralled by the final creation.

  • Your bespoke artwork is carefully rolled and shipped to any location worldwide, with free shipping. Ready to become a cherished, timeless addition to your home and life.

What do I want the painting to be of? I’m here to help! We’ll start by exploring what drew you to my work—whether it’s portraits, landscapes, or something personal. I can weave meaning into the details or create a scene from a collage of images. I’ll send you iPad sketches, and after your feedback, I’ll refine it until you’re happy.

Is it something I can afford? What’s the pricing? Please feel free to reach out with preferred size and style and I will send you a quote - I’m always happy to discuss.

How does payment work? After our free personal consultation, a 50% deposit is required to start the design process, with the remaining balance due upon completion.

What happens if I don’t like the painting? Throughout the process, I will share progress pictures of the painting and weaving stages to ensure we are aligned. If any adjustments are needed, they will be made until you are completely satisfied.

How will it work with my interior? I begin by designing the painting digitally on my iPad, allowing me to superimpose it into your space for a realistic preview. Alternatively, I can send a physical to-scale mock-up to your home, giving you the opportunity to live with the artwork (available on request).

Is it a good investment? While artwork typically appreciates in value, it’s primarily about finding something meaningful to you—something to cherish and pass down through generations.

Athena Anastasiou got her BA in Fine Arts from Central Saint Martins, London, in 2009, and she studied painting at the New York Academy of Art (Continuing Studies) in 2020. She participated in numerous art exhibitions in London, has been selected for The RA Summer Show, Saatchi’s Top Women Artists and Artsy Curators Picks. Represented by Unix Gallery in NYC and works featured in The Guardian, Evening Standard and Harpers Bazaar Interiors.
